Many simple procedures may be done without anaesthetic.
Injections do not hurt if injected very slowly allowing the tissues to stretch and a single needle should only be used for one injection as on the second piercing is actually blunt hence it hurts.
Pain is avoided by fixing things before infection sets in so do not put it off until it does!
We offer sedation for the very anxious patients. The anaesthetist sedates you to a point where you are half asleep and do not remember the procedure allowing us to do the whole treatment in one or two sessions.
